Domaine de l'Amauve "Le Rosé de Simone" Séguret 2023 France

Vibrant, sophisticated and delicious is just what the doctor ordered for the perfect summer rosé. From the first sip, Simone delivers a style far more complex and polished than just about any rosé you'll find. At first it has an almost Sweet Tart, citrus profile that really gets your juices going. And as it begins to open up, a softer, creamier texture develops with ripe peach and stone fruit flavors. Simone is no simple, flash in the pan. She has structure and style unlike far too many diluted rosés out there. And she ages nicely too, drinking well into the following year without losing a bit of freshness. From driveway socials to grilling on the deck, this outstanding rosé makes for an even better party no matter what the occasion. Made from equal parts of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan, all the fruit is organically grown and hand-picked. The pressing is done after 1.5 hours of maceration (hence the light, almost salmon hue to the wine). It is then racked in stainless steel tank. The bottling is done 7 months after harvest. French Rosé, just as it's meant to be!
